Treatment
In very serious cases of a necrotic scleritis the eye surgery should be executed to recover the defective corneal tissue in an eye and to maintain vision of the patient. For less serious cases nonsteroid antiinflammatory preparations, such as Ibufrofenum, are ordered for pain relief. The scleritis is treated with the oral treatment containing corticosteroids and the eye solution. In some cases, antibiotics are ordered. It will not be simple use of eye drops to treat a scleritis. If not treating, the scleritis can cause blindness.
