This is why it’s a good thing to have two parents with perfect vision (ie 20/20). This way there will be no chance of having poor vision and the individual would not have to worry about things like glasses, contacts and LASIK (depending on how bad their vision is).

I’ve done Lasik and it was the worse thing I’ve ever done.
I totally regret it. My eyes are effed up. I was a perfect candidate with a good doctor as well. Keep your contacts people! You never know what’s going to happen. I’d give anything to have my glasses and contacts back.

I just got my lasik done. . I can finally seeeeee ! Contacts made my eyes very dry, glasses were like this weight on my face, not comfortable at all. . Lasik gave my life back. The only fallback- even more dry eyes (just have rewetting drops handy at all times) and . . . Lil headaches (now n then). . . Lastly sometimes blurry vision ! So far I am very happy w. Lasik, it was a piece of cake, didnt hurt. . Now I hope I get the blurriness out so I can see even more clearly. My vision is now 15/20

i’ll admit contacts can bug my eyes everyonce in a while. . . Like my eyes are always dry. .

And i just have problems with contacts alot, they help my vision immensly, but everyones eyes are different. .

I know its pain in the ass but have you ever considered Bates method for restoring your eyes naturally, I do it and it helps little by lettle. Try it.

I’ve also read bad things about Lasik and several people who I know who’ve had it are wearing glasses again several years later! It’s a waste of money, and can seriously damage your eyes.

I’ve read many articles arguing whether or not LASIK is safe, and most of them seem to point to the fact that the flap may never heal correctly and can bring about complications in the future.
