Had LASIK enhancement surgery a month ago, at this time I’m farsighted??

I was severely nearsighted when I had initial surgery in August. I did monovision.

The reading eye healed to a good level, however the distance eye was yet not clear. Had enhancement on the distance eye in December, and at this time my local doc says I’m at this time farsighted. Does that suggest I was overcorrected the 2nd time? Can they fix it for second time? The clinic where I had it complete just holds telling me to wait one more couple of months. This is getting scary!

Well, I was actually going to get Lasik surgery over the summer, but now I think I’ll just stick with contacts.

I was thinking about having it done but I always worried about anything going wrong. I don’t want any screw ups on my eyes. Now hearing this I will probably leave it alone

The higher the degree of correction the more likely it is that you will have some amount of regression after lasik correction. In your case you were extremely nearsighted before lasik and after the enhancement you are now slightly farsighted. In a few months your vision will likely end up just about right. That was my experience but I do know how you feel, it was very scary. Be patient and try not to stress.
