Generally, if your insurance paid for it, you can deduct it. Only medically necessary proceedures are deductable.
Also, you can only deduct the amount that is more than 7.5% of your AGI. Unless you own a home or made large contributions to charity, you will probably still do better by taking the standard deduction.

Its alot of work to maintain them after the surgery for a few weeks but its worth it in the end

It will be months before you will be able to know if you need an enhancement. When you go in for your one week follow up, the doctor will be able to tell you if the blur is caused by some uncorrected refractive error or something else.use your prescription drops as directed and lubricating drops whenever you notice your vision is blurry.
